A Flange is used for connecting pipes, valves, pumps and other equipment to form a Pipe work system. It also facilitates easy access for cleaning, inspection or modification. Flanges are usually welded or screwed into such systems and then joined with bolts.
The basic types of flanges used in Sugar plants, Water, Sewage, ETP plants, Fire Fighting system, HVAC plant, Cooling towers and Utility plants pipelines are:
